Introductory Wine Course

Shopping for wine in a grocery or specialty store can be intimidating and overwhelming.  Finding wines that are perfect for you begins with being able to express which characteristics of wine that most appeal to you.  

Through a special sensory exercise, followed by a wine tasting, this course explores the key components of wine.  Learn what we mean by acid, body, tannin, sweetness and flavors/aromas – and see how these attributes manifest themselves in a selection of six different wines.  Each wine features a specific cheese pairing and is accompanied by local artisan breads.
