EARTH TO TABLE: CHEFS CARA MANGINI & SARAH BLACK
Taste summer and break bread with authors Cara Mangini and Sarah Black for a vegetable inspired evening under the stars.
Mangini is author of the award-winning cookbook The Vegetable Butcher. Black penned best seller One Dough,Ten Breads.
Together we will celebrate the abundance of vegetables at the height of the late summer season, along with soul-satisfying breads, flatbreads, and crackers milled from heritage grains.
Both authors will offer insight into their Ohio connections and how they’ve shaped their appreciation for their connection to the source of ingredients and inspiration, their commitment to teaching, and their aspiration to making both vegetable preparation and bread-baking so accessible it will become second nature in our culture. Their paths brought them to the Columbus area where they discovered their kindred spirit.
Dinner will be served with both plated and family style courses, pairing vegetables & breads, capturing one special moment on the farm as stars align.
Both Cara and Sarah will offer signed books for sale.
Doors open at 6:30 pm. Dinner begins at 7:00 pm.
