Instructions
Made from unripe black walnuts, sugar and spices, Nocino is a dark and versatile Italian liqueur that’s assembled in spring and left to intensify until colder months. And the timing is perfect, as the rich sweetness of Nocino is a perfect match for holiday desserts and drinks. I like to drizzle it over ice cream, stir it into a hot toddy or shake it into a seasonal cocktail like the one crafted by Watershed’s Josh Gandee. When in doubt, pour a dram and sip some Nocino after a hearty meal. It’s a true taste of the holidays. Cheers.
Shake ingredients, pour over new ice in Old Fashioned glass, garnish with Mint bouquet.
Find Nocino in some local retailers and at Watershed Distillery’s bottle shop, located at 1145 Chesapeake Ave. Suite 4, Columbus, 43212. Find additional recipes and learn more about Nocino at www.watersheddistillery.com
